These two little pigs will keep you entertained all day long. The classic party game Pass The Pigs consists of two pig-shaped dice, a pad, two pencils, and a carrying case. On your turn, roll the pigs as many times as you dare to score points. Just be careful not to roll a "Pig Out" or an "Oinker." For example, if both pigs land on all fours, it's called a "Double Trotter" and you earn 20 points. Other scoring rolls include standard (single) Trotters, Razorbacks (standard and double), the famous Leaning Jowler, and more! The first person to reach 100 points wins. It's an ideal travel game with its small plastic carrying case.
Do you enjoy puns? You'll need some for Pass the Pigs, a simple game of chance with a pig theme. Instead of dice, you roll two cute pink piglets, and your points depend on how they land. If both land on all fours, known as a "double trotter," you score 20 points. If they land lying opposite each other, known as a "Pig Out," you gain no points and lose your turn. There are other rules and a variation called "Hog Call." This game would be great for traveling (the pigs, instructions, and scoring pad fit in a small, tidy box) or as a gift for pig lovers! --Elisa Murray
This classic party game has been around for over 25 years and now comes with a new and cool carrying case design. Roll the pig dice and earn points based on the position of your pig. Compete to be the first to reach 100 points. Pass The Pigs was originally called Pigmania in the 1970s but officially changed its name to Pass The Pigs in the 1980s. However, the fun and irreverent gameplay has remained the same!
To play, simply pick up the adorable little pig dice and give them a throw. You score points based on how the pigs land. Siders, Trotters, Razorbacks, Snouters - or even the improbable Leaning Jowler!
The goal is to keep pressing your luck without rolling any Oinkers or Pig Outs and be the first player to score all the way to 100. It's exciting to roll, but you must know when to stop and Pass The Pigs, or you'll end up Pigging out!
Not only is Pass The Pigs a fantastic party game, but it is also used as a learning tool for probability and statistics in many math classrooms in the US!
If you already love Pass The Pigs, which over 30 million people do, then you should also try Pass The Pigs: Pig Party and Pass The Pigs: Big Pigs!
Here's a breakdown of the scoring system: - Sider: The pig is lying on its side, worth 1 point. - Razorback: The pig is lying on its back, worth 5 points. - Trotter: The pig is upright, worth 5 points. - Snouter: The pig is leaning on its snout, worth 10 points. - Leaning Jowler: The pig is on its snout and ear, worth 15 points.
